   Day 1

   Arrival in Manali & Trek Briefing

   Arrive in Manali and check into your guest house. Meet the trek leader and fellow trekkers for a detailed orientation covering the Hampta Pass route, altitude challenges, weather conditions, essential trekking gear and safety procedures. Spend the evening exploring Manali or relaxing before the expedition begins.

   Day 2

   Manali → Jobra → Chika

   After breakfast, drive from Manali to Jobra, the starting point of the Hampta Pass trek. Begin walking through beautiful forests of pine, maple and birch before entering the open meadows of the Hampta Valley. Follow the Rani River and reach the scenic Chika campsite, surrounded by towering mountains and waterfalls.

   Day 3

   Chika → Jwara → Balu Ka Ghera

   After breakfast, begin trekking deeper into the Hampta Valley. Follow the Rani River through rocky terrain and beautiful alpine landscapes before reaching Jwara, a spectacular valley surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Continue towards Balu Ka Ghera, meaning 'bed of sand', located beneath the mighty Hampta Pass.

   Day 4

   Balu Ka Ghera → Hampta Pass → Shea Goru

   Begin early for the most challenging and rewarding day of the expedition. Trek through rocky terrain, snow patches and steep mountain slopes to reach the magnificent Hampta Pass at approximately 14,100 ft. From the summit, witness the dramatic contrast between the lush green Kullu Valley and the barren landscapes of Lahaul. After spending time at the pass, descend carefully towards the beautiful Shea Goru campsite.

   Day 5

   Shea Goru → Chhatru

   After breakfast, descend from Shea Goru towards Chhatru through the spectacular cold-desert terrain of Lahaul Valley. The trail includes rocky sections and possible stream crossings before reaching Chhatru, located near the Chandra River. Settle into the campsite and celebrate the successful crossing of Hampta Pass.

   Day 6Overnight Travel

   Chhatru → Manali via Atal Tunnel

   After breakfast, leave Chhatru and begin the scenic drive back to Manali. Travel through the rugged landscapes of Lahaul Valley and cross the famous Atal Tunnel before reaching Manali. The Hampta Pass Trek Expedition concludes with unforgettable memories of alpine meadows, glacial valleys, river crossings and one of the Himalayas' most spectacular mountain passes.
