Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Lama Travels website, submitting an enquiry, making a payment or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to travel packages, hotel bookings, transportation, activities and other travel-related services arranged by Lama Travels.
Booking Confirmation
Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is considered confirmed only after the required payment has been received and confirmation has been communicated by Lama Travels.
All bookings remain subject to availability of hotels, vehicles, transport services, activities and other third-party suppliers at the time of confirmation.
Pricing and Quotations
- Package prices may vary depending on travel dates, season, availability, number of travellers and selected services.
- Prices quoted are valid only for the period mentioned in the quotation.
- Prices may change before booking confirmation due to changes in supplier rates, taxes, fuel costs or government charges.
- Any services not expressly listed under package inclusions will be considered excluded.
Payments
Customers must make payments according to the payment schedule communicated at the time of booking. Failure to make a required payment by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the booking without further obligation on Lama Travels.
- Advance payments may be required to secure hotels, vehicles and other travel services.
- Some supplier payments may be non-refundable once confirmed.
- Any bank charges, payment gateway fees or transaction costs may be payable by the customer unless otherwise stated.
Traveller Responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate passenger and contact information.
- Carry valid identification and all required travel documents.
- Check visa, passport, permit, health and entry requirements where applicable.
- Arrive at pickup points, airports, railway stations or meeting locations on time.
- Follow local laws, hotel policies, transport rules and safety instructions.
Itinerary Changes
Travel itineraries may be changed due to weather, road conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, operational requirements, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where possible, Lama Travels will attempt to provide a suitable alternative. However, identical replacement services cannot always be guaranteed.
Hotels and Accommodation
Hotel categories and room descriptions are based on information provided by the respective accommodation providers. Check-in, check-out, meal plans, extra beds and other hotel services are governed by individual hotel policies.
Where a confirmed hotel becomes unavailable, a similar alternative may be offered subject to availability.
Transportation
Vehicle type is provided according to the confirmed booking. Exact vehicle models may vary. Delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical issues or other circumstances beyond reasonable control may occur.
Additional kilometres, waiting time, route deviations or services beyond the confirmed itinerary may result in additional charges.
Third-Party Services
Lama Travels may act as an intermediary between customers and independent service providers including hotels, airlines, transport operators, activity providers and guides. These suppliers operate under their own terms, policies and operational control.
Lama Travels will provide reasonable assistance in resolving service issues but cannot guarantee the actions or performance of independent third parties.
Customer Conduct
Customers are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward staff, drivers, guides, accommodation providers, other travellers and local communities. Lama Travels reserves the right to discontinue services where conduct creates a safety risk, causes serious disruption or violates applicable law.
Force Majeure
Lama Travels shall not be liable for failure, delay or modification of services resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, landslides, floods, pandemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, road closures or transportation disruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lama Travels shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, missed connections, lost baggage, personal belongings, accidents, illness or actions of independent service providers, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts applicable to Lama Travels, unless otherwise required by law.
