   Day 1

   Arrival in Pokhara & Expedition Briefing

   Arrive in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara and transfer to your hotel. Meet the trek leader and fellow trekkers for a detailed expedition briefing covering the Annapurna Base Camp route, weather conditions, altitude considerations, essential trekking equipment and mountain safety procedures. Spend the evening relaxing beside Phewa Lake or exploring Lakeside Pokhara.

   Day 2

   Pokhara → Nayapul → Ghandruk

   After an early breakfast, drive from Pokhara towards Nayapul and continue to the trek starting point. Begin trekking through beautiful rural landscapes, terraced fields and traditional settlements before reaching Ghandruk, one of the most famous Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. Enjoy magnificent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre.

   Day 3

   Ghandruk → Chhomrong

   After breakfast, leave Ghandruk and continue through beautiful forests, river valleys and mountain settlements towards Chhomrong. The village sits dramatically beneath the Annapurna massif and serves as the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

   Day 4

   Chhomrong → Bamboo

   Descend the famous stone staircases from Chhomrong towards the Chhomrong Khola before climbing through dense forests of bamboo, oak and rhododendron. Pass through Sinuwa and continue deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary towards the peaceful mountain settlement of Bamboo.

   Day 5

   Bamboo → Deurali

   Continue ascending through increasingly dramatic Himalayan terrain. Trek past Dovan and the sacred Hinku Cave before reaching Deurali. As altitude increases, dense forests gradually give way to rugged alpine landscapes surrounded by towering mountain walls.

   Day 6

   Deurali → Machhapuchhre Base Camp → Annapurna Base Camp

   Begin one of the most spectacular days of the expedition. Trek through the dramatic Modi Khola valley towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp, surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. Continue deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary before reaching Annapurna Base Camp at approximately 4,130 metres. Stand within a breathtaking natural amphitheatre surrounded by Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre.

   Day 7

   Annapurna Base Camp Sunrise → Bamboo

   Wake early to witness an unforgettable Himalayan sunrise as the first rays of light illuminate Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre and the surrounding peaks. After breakfast, begin descending through Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Deurali before reaching Bamboo for the overnight stay.

   Day 8

   Bamboo → Chhomrong → Jhinu Danda

   After breakfast, trek through Sinuwa and climb back towards Chhomrong before descending to Jhinu Danda. Depending on time and trail conditions, visit the nearby natural hot springs beside the Modi Khola River for a relaxing experience after several days of Himalayan trekking.

   Day 9

   Jhinu Danda → Trek End Point → Pokhara

   After breakfast, begin the final trekking section through beautiful villages, terraced landscapes and river valleys. Reach the designated roadhead and board your vehicle for the scenic return journey to Pokhara. Check into the hotel and spend the evening relaxing beside Phewa Lake or celebrating the successful completion of the Annapurna Base Camp expedition.

    Pokhara Departure
